Good morning, Rivki & I together with Shule President Mark Kuran, Board of Management and Ronny, wish you and yours a Chag Shavuot Sameach! An enjoyable and meaningful Shavuot!
On Shavuot, which begins tonight and ends Tuesday night, we commemorate and relive the giving of the Torah on Mt Sinai, 3,333 years ago! A cause for celebration and reflection. It is celebrated by lighting candles, staying up late to study Torah, hearing the reading of the Ten Commandments in Shule, feasting on dairy foods and remembering our loved ones. Shavuot is a time of unity - a time where through the giving and the receiving of the Torah, all of Am Yisrael were unified in their connection to Hashem, to each other, and to the Land of Israel. Now more than ever, we need to lean on and gather strength from that deep sense of unity and connection. We look forward to coming together and seeing you in Shule over Yom Tov! Please see schedule below. May this Shavuot bring joy and peace for us all! Chag Sameach! Good Yom Tov! Learn more about Shavuot here.
